As you fly into Gaua airport, Charles and Angela Bice – with their family, will be waiting to greet you with a fresh salu-salu (flower lei) and big smiles.

Charles and his family will escort you two minutes down the road to their island bungalows which are located in their leafy garden filled with tropical flowers and local fruits and vegetables.

Choose to stay in one of the two deluxe bungalows with ensuite or one of the three basic bungalows with shared bathroom facilities. Mosquito protection is provided, as is solar lights and access to the rainwater tank. You are also able to use the generator at night to charge your electronics.

Angela is a talented and cook and serves delicious island-style meals in the local restaurant fare. Using locally sourced ingredients Angela creates large banquet style meals for the whole family that includes a range of vegetables, Vanuatu’s national dish – laplap (made from a root crop such as cassava, yam or plantain banana), coconut crab, lobster, local beef and chicken or fresh seafood. Breakfast is included in your booking and all other meals are available request.

Charles speaks fluent English and Bislama as well as basic French. Charles and Angela want you to feel like part of the family during your stay and are looking forward to welcoming you to their home.

Conference facilities and catering is also available for up to 20 people.
