Little Paradise Island bungalows include basic, but clean, private toilet and showers, and own gas stove with plenty of tea, coffee and powdered milk available. Enjoy the super friendly village and local people and most of all the stunning Port Olry beach. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from your front porch. Electricity for the village is generated from coconut oil. If you ask, villagers will proudly show you how. There are now four beach bungalows, which are locally built, with timber walls and Natangura palm thatch roofs. Each bungalow has one double bed and one single bed. Mosquito nets are provided. Mains electricity is available in the evenings, from 1700h to 2300h.
Little Paradise Bungalows of Port Olry is owned and managed by Tarcisius Alguet. A local, Tarcisius is bilingual and speaks both French and English and provides 24/7 assistance to take care of his guests.
The Harbour Beach restaurant is walking distance where you can have your breakfast by the beach and watch the turtles or request to be served in front of your bungalows. They have great food, soft drinks and beer. Ordering a couple of hours in advance is advisable. Good, simple, local food is served. Drinking water is rainwater. The Latamav-Sigon de Port Olry Co-op store (LMS store) is well stocked with fresh bread from the community bakery and more beer.
