Restaurant “1606” complements the resort accommodation beautifully offering exceptional food created in a vibrant restaurant. The open kitchen allows dinners the opportunity to observe the Chef’s and kitchen staff in action. 1606 caters for large events of up to 60 (seated ) or 100 persons for a casual cocktail function.
Open from 7.30am starting the day with a tropical buffet breakfast for guests until closing when the last diners say good night. The restaurant offers local organic produce (market fresh) from the village gardens to 1606. Organic Santo beef and ocean fresh Poulet Fish are further accented by an extensive wine menu and desserts – try our famous Triple Choc Tart and coffee from our Espresso Machine that runs hot anytime of the day.
1606 launched the new Tapas Menu 2013 - An elegant mix of our very own tapas created using seasonal produce, beef, fish and local prawns. A specials board is created everyday to tempt our guests with freshly delivered - lobster, crab and local prawns.
The restaurant hosts an array of entertainment throughout the year from International performers to the very talented local musicians.
